AMLA revision and entry into force
The publications of the State Secretariat for International Finance and the Federal Office of Justice are taken into account in particular for the entry into force, scope and overall assessment.
Transparency register
Information on the register, beneficial owners and the pilot operation comes from the Federal Office of Justice.
Basis of the checks
Questions, answer options and branching logic are managed in the separately developed WordPress plugin. The check version displayed states the legal position, approval date and approving body.
Updates and scope
The content is updated when material legal changes occur. Source references provide transparency. The assessments provided do not replace individual legal advice or an assessment by a public authority.
Self-regulatory organisations
The SRO overview and non-binding guidance are based on FINMA’s official list of recognised self-regulatory organisations dated 4 August 2026. Sector and language assignments on this website are intended solely as initial guidance.
