Information on the processing of personal data on gwg-info.ch.
1. Controller
The ICF Institute for Compliance and Financial Integrity, PO Box 846, 4002 Basel, is responsible for processing personal data. Data protection enquiries may be submitted via the contact form .
2. Accessing the website
When the website is accessed, technically necessary information such as the IP address, time, page requested, browser information and error messages may be processed in server logs. This serves the secure and stable operation of the website.
3. Use of the checks
Answers to the checks are processed in the browser to calculate the result. For one-time result delivery, the email address, result and answer lines are used to prepare the email. If optional local storage is enabled in the plugin, these details are also stored as a private request in WordPress. The answer lines are not transferred to Brevo.
4. Contact form
When you contact us, we process the information you provide in order to respond to your enquiry. This may include your name, email address, company and message.
5. Specialist information via Brevo
Brevo is used for voluntarily subscribed specialist information. The data processed may include the email address, language, source, type of consent, date of consent and form version. Registration is confirmed through a double opt-in process.
6. Cookies and statistics
No marketing or profiling services are used initially. Technically necessary cookies or local storage may be used where required for security, language or session functions.
7. Service providers and disclosure
Carefully selected service providers may be used for hosting, email delivery, maintenance and security. Where data is processed outside Switzerland, this is done in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
8. Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by law. It is then deleted or anonymised.
9. Rights of data subjects
Within the scope of applicable data protection law, data subjects may request access, rectification, deletion and other rights provided by law.
10. Data security and changes
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data. This privacy policy may be amended if the website, the services used or the legal situation changes.
